Sally‘s Ride

Sally’s Ride started in 2002 when Sally Fletcher rode 1,400km solo around Tasmania, raising funds for mental health in Tasmania. In 2009, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Central Launceston, the event was expanded to include different cycling opportunities for riders of all fitness levels and abilities.

100% of registration fees collected will be directed to organisations passionate about supporting positive mental health in our community.

Bendigo Golf Club

The Bendigo Golf Club was established in August 1901, originally opening as a 6-hole course.

Today, it is situated just 10 minutes north of the Bendigo CBD and offers Men’s 6,040-metre par 72 and Women’s 5,353-metre par 73 layouts that provide an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfers.

Strathfield Football Club

Located at Strathfield Park, Strathfield Football Club is the largest Sporting Club within the Municipality of Strathfield, and we’re always looking for new players and members.  Strathfield Strikers have boys and girls teams competing in the Canterbury District Soccer Football Association (C.D.S.F.A), from Under 6’s through to Under 18’s, Men’s and Women’s All Age and Over 35’s & Over 45’s competitions on both Saturdays and Sundays.

We are a family-oriented club, striving to achieve success on and off the field by supplying a safe, controlled, professional, sporting and enjoyable environment, for all to enjoy the biggest and greatest game in the world.

Ferntree Gully Cricket Club

The Ferntree Gully Cricket Club is the oldest community group and sporting club in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. The club has operated since 1882/83 and is located at the ‘Walter H. Tew Pavilion’, on the magnificent Wally Tew Reserve. The club fields Senior, Veterans, Junior, All Abilities, and Blasters teams ranging in age from 4 to 70.

FoodFilled Inc.

FoodFilled is a food rescue charity run by youth, positively impacting the environment and our community. They feed thousands of people every month and boast an ever-growing network of volunteers and partners.

As a charity, their goal is also to improve the environment and safeguard our planet. Currently in Australia, 7.3 million tonnes of food is discarded each year, accounting for 5% of yearly greenhouse gas emissions.

By saving perfectly good food and redistributing it to people in need, FoodFilled is able to fight two pressing societal issues – food insecurity and environmental sustainability.

Southern Saints are Sandringham FC’s VFLW team. The Club’s mission is to be a competitive community sporting organisation that provides a pathway to the AFL and AFLW. They also aim to foster an inclusive and high-performing environment that delivers a premier state level football club for men and women.

Brighton Rotary Club

Since its formation on 24th September 1973, the Rotary Club of Brighton has lived up to the ideals of Rotary in its community service, fund raising and social programs.
The influence of the club is all over the Bayside area and far beyond. Locally, the club has supported many Bayside, Melbourne wide and nationally based community projects, as well as offering extensive mentoring programs and providing management support to various social enterprises.
Internationally, the club has built and rebuilt schools in Samoa, East Timor, PNG, provided medical support and training in various Asia Pacific countries, actively involved in water projects in Cambodia and supported many other Rotary International supported global charitable initiatives.

Ardoch Youth Foundation is a charity that provides educational support for children and young people in disadvantaged communities.
Their primary objective is to build the capacity of schools, early years services and communities to deliver targeted programs that will improve learning and well-being outcomes for children and young people in areas of high need and enable them to access learning, stay in school and reach their full potential.

Sandringham Zebras Football Club

The Sandringham Football Club has a long, proud and successful history in the VFA/VFL competition. Sandringham were admitted to the VFA (Victorian Football Association) in 1929. The yellow, black and blue colours of the Sandringham jumper were made up of colours taken from the three local sides that combined to make up the club.

The ‘Zebra’ name was started by Jim Blake, a Melbourne top-liner who wrote about the VFA for many years during the time of the club’s start in the competition.

During Sandringham’s existence in the VFA/VFL competition, the club has participated in 15 Grand Finals, winning 10. The most successful period for the Zebras was throughout the mid 2000’s where the club won 3 successive premierships under Coach Mark Williams.

Formed in 1962 this popular club exceeds 1,000 players in 70+ teams from under 6 through to over 35 age groups. They are a non-profit association hosting an enthusiastic band of motivated players, supportive parents and carers, and qualified coaches, managers and volunteers. Their focus is on creating a challenging, exciting and rewarding future for football in the Forestville and Killarney Heights area of Sydney NSW.
